- Mechanical engineering, specialised in thermal engineering. Graduated in 1987 at Twente University (Masters).
Profession
Working for KTI from 1988 to feb. 1999, an engineering company in Zoetermeer, in following functions:
- Six years Rotating equipment engineer: specialist in pumps, compressors and other rotating machinery.
- Six months expediting and shipment: assuring suppliers to supply goods in correct time to correct place.
- One year stress engineer: calculate piping systems according ASME and Stoomwezen
- Three years as refractory specialist in KTI furnace department.
After a short period in offshore, worked on freelance-basis as mechanical engineer and consultant
From 2000 to 2009 working as process design manager at Thermcon Ovens in Geldermalsen.
After closing of the Thermcon office in Geldermalsen employed at Otto Junker GmbH in Lammersdorf in the same function as at Thermcon.
Besides the designing of melting furnaces for the alumnium industry, since 2010 also designing Mathematische computer models for predicting and optimizing the thermal processes of heat treatment chamber furnaces.
Hobbies
- Developing software in Delphi and Pascal.
